But is anybody coming with a solution?

We believe that the only way to to bring peace, connections and understanding to the people in this region, is through the younger generation. This is what our mission has been for the past ten years at Peace Drums Project

Interfaith group visiting from the US, February 2023

In February 2023, an Inter-Faith group of Christians and Jews made up of several churches and synagogues from Wilmington, De in the U.S., traveled to Israel to get a better understanding of life there. One of the highlights of their trip was a visit to the town of Ibillin and to the Mar Elias School to listen to a performance of the Peace Drums band. Many of these visitors had been financial contributors to the project over the years, so to hear these young people in person was a real thrill! After the performance the audience and the students shared some beverages and food and were able to get to know one another through fellowship. Thanks to Suzie and Peter Grumbacher from Wilmington in arranging this visit and thanks to Micha Chacour for hosting.
